Privacy
ReadingSpace is designed to keep your reading and note data local. This website does not collect data from any ReadingSpace plugin.
Data Storage
Each plugin keeps your content local by default:
- Obsidian Reading Space: Excerpts, notes, and organized results are saved in your local Obsidian vault.
- ReadingSpace Web: Annotations and captures are saved locally in your browser by default. You control when they sync to Obsidian through your settings.
- ReadingSpace for MarginNote: Reading and card data are saved in your local MarginNote environment. You choose when to export them to Obsidian.
AI Features
Some features may send text you select or submit to third-party AI services, including selection explanations, AI follow-up questions, and content capture. Review each service's data practices before enabling it.
Network Requests
Plugins generally make network requests only when needed for AI features, synchronization, or update checks. They do not continuously upload your local knowledge base to this website.
This Promotional Website
This is a static promotional site with no third-party tracking scripts or advertising SDKs. Plugin screenshots illustrate features and interfaces without containing real users' private data.
